A Virgin pil�t�i nagyon �lvezt�k az els� k�r�k csat�it

A Virgin Racing k�t versenyz�je, a brazil Lucas di Grassi �s a n�met Timo Glock ide-oda el�zgett�k egym�st az els� k�rben, s�t Glock egy �zben egyszerre el�zte meg csapatt�rs�t �s a lotusos Jarno Trullit. Di Grassi pedig k�r�k�n �t tartotta maga m�g�tt a Ferrari k�tszeres vil�gbajnok�t Fernando Alons�t, �gy a virginesek �rthet� m�don nagyon �lvezt�k a verseny els� k�reit.

K�s�bb azonban mindkett�j�knek ism�telten szembes�lni�k kellett a szomor� val�s�ggal: egyar�nt technikai meghib�sod�s vetett v�get mozgalmas verseny�knek.

A rajtn�l volt egy kis probl�m�m, ami miatt Lucas (di Grassi) meg tudott el�zni, de az els� k�r�m nagyon j�l siker�lt, �s Loews-ben egyszerre megel�ztem Lucast �s Jarn�t (Trulli) is. �gy egy j� poz�ci�ba ker�ltem, �s Heikki Kovalainen m�g�tt haladtam, akivel nagyj�b�l hasonl� temp�t tudtam futni, noha a h�tuls� abroncsaim kicsit t�lzott m�rt�kben koptak, �s a f�kkel is ad�dott n�mi gondom. Sajnos azt�n a Casino kanyarban t�nkrement a h�ts� felf�ggeszt�sem, ami a verseny v�g�t jelentette sz�momra. �gyhogy most ki kell vizsg�lnunk az esetet, hogy meg�rts�k, mi t�rt�nt."

HI! Today DNF again...

"It has been a very disappointing end to the weekend. I had a problem at the start and then lost position to Lucas, but I had a really good first lap and overtook Lucas and Jarno Trulli at Loews. This got me into a good position behind Heikki Kovalainen and I could go a similar speed to him, but I had a bit too much tyre degradation on the rear and some problems with the brakes as well. Unfortunately in Casino corner, the rear suspension failed, which ended my race, so we now have to investigate and understand why that happened."

Hi! Today Timo was on P20!

It is quite frustrating that I was only able to complete three laps in this morning's Free Practice session, because it meant that I had to go into Qualifying blind. So I was quite surprised about how close we were with Lotus but then I felt my lap was really spot-on, with the car almost kissing the Armco in places to get the best time possible. I'm pleased with my time and happy with the job I've done today.

"As for the rest of the weekend, only some of that is in my hands now because in Monaco you never know what might happen. I'm optimistic for the race as our car looks better on heavy fuel, so we have to think about what we can do through the strategy and make the most of every opportunity. I think it's worth having a gamble here. We have Chris Ferguson, the professional poker player, with us for the race, so I might ask him which way we should roll the dice!"

"Ma eg�szen j� volt az aut�val menni, nem volt komolyabb probl�ma. A m�sodik szabadedz�sen szenvedt�nk kiss� a sebess�gv�lt�val - a duplakuplungos v�lt� nem m�k�d�tt ezen az edz�sen, amely kiss� csal�d�s, de �sszess�g�ben nem volt probl�ma �s j� be�ll�t�st tal�ltunk. Megl�tjuk, mi t�rt�nik szombaton, ism�t kem�nyen harcolunk a Lotusszal �s l�tjuk, hol �llunk."

"Today was quite good with the car, no major problems. In Free Practice 2 we struggled a bit with the gearbox - the seamless shift wasn't working in that session which was a bit of a shame, but in general, no problems and we found a good set-up. Let's see what happens on Saturday and fight hard with Lotus again and see where we are."

Glock �s Heidfeld majdnem bemutatkozhatott a DTM-ben

Az izlandi vulk�nkit�r�s napokra megb�n�totta a l�gik�zleked�st vil�gszerte, ami kis h�j�n a n�met t�raaut�-bajnoks�g (DTM) mez�ny�re is hat�ssal volt. A h�tv�g�n rajtol� id�ny k�t meghat�roz� tagja, Paul di Resta �s Gary Paffett Forma-1-es elfoglalts�gai miatt majdnem K�n�ban ragadt, �m a Mercedes hamar el��llt a v�szmegold�ssal is.

A Mercedes motorsport-igazgat�ja, Norbert Haug elmondta, hogy k�t alapember�ket k�t Forma-1-es pil�ta helyettes�tette volna: a n�met m�rka a Virgin Racing versenyz�j�t, Timo Glockot �s a Mercedes GP tartal�kj�t, Nick Heidfeldet vette volna k�lcs�n, ha Paul di Resta �s Gary Paffett nem tudott volna id�ben Eur�p�ba utazni.

Mivel azonban a l�giforgalom kezd helyre�llni, a k�t DTM-men� gond n�lk�l N�metorsz�gba rep�lhetett m�r kedden, �gy az eredeti terveknek megfelel�en �k lesznek ott a hockenheimi szezonnyit�n.
